‼️ Well, we have arrived to the predicament of the new era: what is real? And how is this being determined? (This is a clear indication of Irresponsible AI usage against human centered activities).
I have a variety of friends that come from all industries, including entertainment … interesting to say that now the average population assumes that a good quality written text, lyrics, a good lighting photo, video editing, music composition, or strategy paper comes from AI.
Hilariously enough- these group of friends…Again: from different backgrounds, regions, sectors and cultures started to see a discrepancy between these assumptions, and in full honesty offended by this.
I had to test it myself and I asked these tools to check a few of my old texts and music …. (From 2007, 2008, 2009)…(before GenAI for the clever minds).
And I got the funny results of “97% of the text is likely Al-generated content.” And I immediately got offended- excuse me!
Then I read that again and it DOES NOT say “… is AI-generated “, it says “…is LIKELY AI-generated…”
So, now quality is being questioned and WORSE: quality and art is only attributed to Generative AI tools… sorry, but WTh 🤦🏻♀️ … from who is AI learning again? 🫢
And see my concern is that GenAi is being used by EVERYONE, but some are already getting the seal of free pass approval… mhm… notice how some materials are being automatically tagged and others not 🤔…
-“Your picture looks too good, surely it has a filter”= back in the days we learned how to use the angles and natural light (also makeup)💡
-“Your voice sounds too good “= back in the days we used to grow up singing gospel songs every week and it was just natural to develop our vocals (at least for one straight weekend- then spending a few days without a voice of course) 💿
-“Your skin looks spotless in those videos “= dude, I’m vegan… I look like a zombie when tired… is that AI too? 🧟♀️
….I can also levitate, travel back and forth in time, and read your mind. Would that also be considered AI generated? 🙄
My first book 📚 was published in 2007 (poetry), my first song in 2008, and first Research paper in 2010 (Seismology), I NEVER followed (nor I will ever) the usual process tradition because I’m a philomath 🫶🏻
Be mindful of who you are speaking to… so far my only advice is to track back these activities for expertise. (Blockchain is already tracking this and once it becomes official… my digital networth is estimated in 70b, from all the stolen original assets… 🥲)
