Brussels, 23 March 2026 — Dr. Lidia Esther Aviles, Founder and CEO of AELSTONE®, has been appointed to the Global Advisory Board of the Council for Global Affairs and Development, under the leadership of the Director of International Cooperation and Partnerships.
This appointment recognizes over two decades of Dr. Aviles’ work at the intersection of foresight, infrastructure strategy, and cross-sectoral systems transformation—spanning energy, industrial ecosystems, and emerging technologies.

Her work will support the Council’s mission to align policy with implementation—bridging public and private sectors, and ensuring that strategic initiatives are both forward-looking and executable at scale.
