Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking in an interview about one of the most pressing issues of our time: the green energy transition. The conversation focused on how energy hubs, a concept I developed years ago, are key players in achieving this goal.
Energy hubs are centralized systems that integrate various energy sources—solar, wind, Storage and hydrogen—into a cohesive framework with ICT. This allows for better energy management, distribution, and storage, which can significantly accelerate our shift toward renewable energy sources.
During the interview, I highlighted how these hubs are not only technical innovations but also critical tools for enhancing energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprints. By optimizing the production and consumption of renewable energy, they offer a pathway to a more sustainable future. I also discussed how collaboration between governments, private sectors, and local communities is essential in making these energy hubs effective.
Ultimately, our discussion emphasized the urgency of advancing energy transition strategies and the vital role of innovation in shaping a greener future for all.
