Managua, Nicaragua — August 30, 2008 — Lidia Avilés, a student of International Relations at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (UNICIT), presented her book titled “Lloros del Alma” (Cries of the Soul) in a cultural event with keynote Speaker Miguel Lecaro Bárcenas, Ambassador of Panama in Nicaragua.
The presentation, held in Managua, brought together members of the diplomatic community, students, and literary enthusiasts to celebrate emerging voices in Central American literature. Aviles’s work, Lloros del Alma, explores themes of introspection, emotional resilience, and the universal search for meaning through poetic expression.
The Embassy of Panama’s collaboration in this event reflected its ongoing commitment to promoting cultural exchange and supporting young talent across the region.
